The Porcelain Clay Kintsiguri Necklace is inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, to render a new piece more beautiful than before.
This handmade necklace features a clay coloured disc with a delicate gold line design. The porcelain discs are made via an intricate process where clay is crafted, fired and glazed. Real silver or gold lustre is added to the surface of each charm before the final firing. This seals the lustre in to the glaze creating elegant, durable jewellery.
