At Willow & Rowe, the brands we choose to stock must offer more than beautiful products. They must carry a sense of craft, a story of thoughtful design, or a respect for people and planet.
As we explore what a more considered era of retail will look like, we are continually drawn to makers who create with care and intention. Designers whose work reflects both creativity and conscience.
It is with this philosophy in mind that we are delighted to introduce Bianca Williams Design, an independent British homeware brand rooted in botanical inspiration, traditional textile craft and small-batch production.
Bianca's work celebrates the quiet beauty of nature while bringing colour, warmth and artistry into everyday life.
A Designer Shaped by Textile Craft
Behind the brand is British textile designer Bianca Williams, whose creative journey began long before the launch of her own label.
From an early age she was immersed in art and craft, regularly attending weekend art classes and developing a deep fascination with colour, pattern and texture. This passion led her to study woven textiles, where she graduated with a first-class degree. Following her studies, Bianca spent more than fifteen years working within the textile industry, collaborating with mills across the United Kingdom, Italy and China, designing fabrics for both designer labels and well known high street brands.
The brand that now bears her name was born during a moment of unexpected change. When the pandemic disrupted the textile industry, it created her opportunity to pursue a long held ambition. Bianca began developing a collection of homewares and gifts built around her own original artwork.
From this moment, Bianca Williams Design emerged as a distinctive new voice in British homeware.
Art That Begins by Hand
What makes Bianca’s work immediately recognisable is the tactile way in which each pattern begins.

Her designs start life as hand crafted collages, created by layering painted and printed papers to form texture, movement and depth. These original artworks are then digitally refined and translated into repeat patterns suitable for textiles and paper goods.
This process gives her prints a warmth and character that feels unmistakably handmade.
Floral motifs run throughout the collection, often inspired by the seasonal rhythms of the British countryside. Soft bluebells, cheerful and delicate blooms appear across her designs, bringing a sense of freshness and optimism. Each piece reflects Bianca’s joyful approach to colour and pattern.
Made in Britain, in Small Batches
One of the reasons Bianca Williams Design sits so naturally within the Willow & Rowe collection is its commitment to independence and British manufacturing.
Products are designed, printed and produced in the United Kingdom in small runs, working with carefully selected local manufacturers. This approach supports British craft and allows production to remain intentionally small scale. Rather than mass produced homewares, Bianca’s collections retain the character and individuality that define independent design.
For customers seeking gifts with genuine provenance, this attention to origin matters.
Thoughtful and Sustainable Production
Sustainability is considered throughout Bianca’s design and production process.
Where possible she works with environmentally responsible materials, including FSC certified card and eco-friendly inks for printed products. Production within the United Kingdom also helps reduce transport distances while supporting local manufacturing.
Waste is carefully minimised within her studio practice. Fabric offcuts from lampshade production are often repurposed into smaller items such as wash bags or accessories, allowing materials to be used as fully as possible.
These decisions reflect a simple but powerful philosophy. Design beautifully, produce responsibly and waste as little as possible. It is a philosophy that aligns naturally with Willow & Rowe’s commitment to considered retail.
A Celebration of the Seasons
Another quality that makes Bianca Williams Design particularly suited to Willow & Rowe is its strong sense of seasonality.

Many of Bianca’s prints take inspiration directly from the changing landscape of the British countryside. Early spring flowers, fresh summer blooms and garden botanicals appear throughout the collection.
This connection to the seasons makes her work especially well suited to meaningful gifting moments throughout the year. Because the designs are botanical rather than trend led, they feel timeless and uplifting.
