Inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, to render a new piece more beautiful than before, the handmade Porcelain Kintsiguri Necklace features a white porcelain disc with a matte gloss finish and a delicate gold line design. The porcelain discs are made via an intricate process where clay is crafted, fired and glazed. Real silver or gold lustre is added to the surface of each charm before the final firing. This seals the lustre in to the glaze creating elegant, durable jewellery.
